Description: FG-3019 is a
fully human monoclonal antibody against Connective Tissue Factor
(CTGF), a multifunctional protein involved in the regulation of
cell growth and maintenance and in tissue remodeling, and a key
mediator of chronic fibrosis (persistent and excessive scarring).
Status: FibroGen plans to begin a Phase 1, open-label study
of the safety and pharmacokinetics of FG-3019 in adolescent subjects
with steroid-resistant FSGS. |
