Description: FibroGen's
dermal filler products, FG-5030 and FG-5017, are cross-linked
formulations of recombinant human collagen type III. FibroGen
scientists have discovered that in in vitro models,
formulations based on recombinant type III collagen persist
longer than those based on type I, the main component of
classical collagen injectibles.
Status: FibroGen plans to initiate efficacy testing of its
dermal fillers in 2007. |
