FibroGen Announces Abstracts on Connective Tissue Growth Factor to be Presented at the 2003 Meeting of the American Society of Nephrology

South San Francisco, Calif. - November 12, 2003 - FibroGen, Inc., today announced that multiple abstracts on the Company's research related to Connective Tissue Growth Factor will be presented at Renal Week 2003, the annual meeting of the American Society of Nephrology, being held November 12th-17th in San Diego, CA. The abstracts to be presented include the following:
