FibroGen is the only producer of highly purified, fully characterized recombinant human (rh) collagens and gelatins intended to replace similar animal- or human-derived materials currently used in a variety of medical, pharmaceutical, and consumer applications. FibroGen has sold its products to over 100 institutions since introducing them to the market five years ago.

FibroGen produces recombinant human collagens and gelatins using in-house fermentation capacity. Select products intended for research and evaluation purposes are available for purchase through our Reagent Store (to visit FibroGen’s Reagent Store, please click here). Master Files are in preparation and will facilitate the incorporation of FibroGen biomaterials into customers' existing and future products. In the U.S., a Master File will be submitting to the appropriate Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reviewing center (e.g., CDRH, CDER, CBER) to provide detailed information related to the production of the product under review. Data will also be available for European and Japanese regulatory filings.
